A group of loosely connected images from a desert and an archipelago. Some pictures from 2019 that were taken in Arizona in January and Vermont in July. A landscape I had never walked in, with warm and dry air. A group of islands where my father is from and where his ashes are buried. Ashes I visited for the first time in twenty years on the same day I rode my bicycle further than I had ever ridden in a single day: 82.5 miles.
